Starmus VIII
Research Leader and Head Geologist at the Institute for Energy Technology (IFE) in Norway, with decades of experience in mineralogy, petrology, geoscience and applied mineralogy. His expertise in microscopy and scientific photography was instrumental to Project Stardust, where he developed an optical setup for high-resolution imaging of urban micrometeorites. He co-authored Atlas of Micrometeorites (2020) and contributed to the documentaries Fireball: Visitors from Darker Worlds and We Are Stardust (2026), bridging geoscience, innovative imaging and public engagement.
