Starmus VIII
Zarja Medved is a chemical engineer from Slovenia and a PhD researcher at Wetsus and Maastricht University, based in the Netherlands. Her research focuses on the processing of bioplastics and their application in agriculture, working towards a biobased society. Outside the lab, she plays the viola in the piano–viola duo Srečno and with the amateur orchestra De Nije Symfony in Leeuwarden, Friesland, where she lives and works.
