Following 25 years in the oil and gas business with Conoco Inc, Mary began working and travelling with Jane Goodall in 1990. As Vice President -Office of the Founder - Global, she worked closely with Jane on all aspects of her complex life. She plays a key role in the evolution of Jane Goodall’s Roots & Shoots and the evolution of the Jane
Goodall Institute now numbering 30 global offices. Mary currently serves as a board member for the Jane Goodall Legacy Foundation, the Jane Goodall Institute Global, and the Jane Goodall Institute UK. She divides her time between London and Orkney.
