Jorge Drexler is a Uruguayan musician, composer, and singer with a 30-year career. He has recorded fourteen studio albums and performed worldwide. Originally a doctor, he moved to Spain in 1995 to focus on music. Drexler has won numerous awards, including an Oscar, 15 Latin Grammys, a Goya Award, and a Biznaga de Plata. His latest album, "Tinta y Tiempo," earned him five Latin Grammys in 2022. His recent tour, which included sold-out shows at the Movistar Arena in Buenos Aires and his largest concert in Chile, won a Premio Ondas for Best Show in 2023. Drexler is known for his relentless experimentation with music and lyrics, drawing inspiration from poetry and science. His work bridges cultures and expresses deep human emotions.
