Macaca Radiata is a band founded in 2022 by pianist Sonia Martell and guitarist/vocalist Jorge Pérez, both from La Palma, Canary Islands, now based in Madrid. Awarded the 2024 Best New Artist by Los 40 Principales Canarias, they have made a significant impact on both the Canary and Madrid music scenes with their original compositions spanning pop, rock, jazz, blues, and classical New Age. Known for their captivating stage presence, their shows offer an emotional journey, blending intimate and energetic performances with hints of British rock. Their achievements include a sold-out show at Café La Palma Madrid (2022) and participation in Isla Bonita Love Festival 2024, opening for Ricky Martin and Martin Garrix.
