Eduardo Sáenz de Cabezón (Logroño, Spain) holds a PhD in Mathematics and is an Associate Professor at the University of La Rioja. His research focuses on Computational Algebra, including homology of monomial ideals and Algebraic Reliability. He is also known for his work in mathematical dissemination, giving talks, workshops, and courses. Eduardo has won scientific monologue competitions like FameLab (2013) and the Aquae Foundation contest (2014), and founded The Big Van Theory. He collaborates with various media outlets in Spain and is the scriptwriter and presenter of the YouTube channel "Derivando." He has authored several popular mathematics books and presents the program "Órbita Laika" on La 2 of RTVE.
