Remigius “Remo” Klacansky is a talented young composer and pianist born in Norway in 1993. He started showing his musical abilities at the age of three and has since won numerous awards at piano competitions across Europe.
In addition to classical music, Klacansky has ventured into film and pop music, collaborating with notable figures in the Czech-Slovak music industry. One of his significant collaborations includes playing the keys with the legendary Slovak singer and songwriter Richard Müller.
Remigius Klacansky graduated in composition from the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava (VSMU) and also attended the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. His compositional skills have earned him recognition, including the Vienna Film Music Prize 2020 and a 3rd prize at the “Generace 2021” international competition for contemporary classical music, and being a finalist in the prestigious “Austrian Composers Media Music Award”. His compositional work on successful Slovak TV series such as “Milenky”, “Kuchyna”, and “Stastni vs. Stastni”, or his music for the „Fashion Ballet 2022“, are among his notable accomplishments.
Remigius continues to explore new creative avenues, contributing to projects that span a diverse range of media and audiences.
