Dr. Chris Boshuizen, also known as Dr. Chrispy, is an award-winning aeronautical engineer, music producer, and songwriter. He was Australia's third astronaut and has always balanced his passions for music and space exploration. Boshuizen worked at NASA for nearly five years, where he invented new kinds of spacecraft, and later co-founded Planet Labs, a company operating the largest fleet of Earth-observing satellites. In 2021, he flew to space alongside William Shatner on Blue Origin’s NS-18 mission. In addition to his scientific achievements, Boshuizen has a prolific music career, writing and producing music under the name Dr. Chrispy. His debut album, "VHS," released in 2018, features instrumental tracks inspired by his travels and experiences. He continues to create music in his home studio in San Francisco while also managing Interplanetary Capital, an angel fund focusing on new space and high-tech start-up companies.
