The first press conference of STARMUS VI took place in The Alexander on May 6th. The RA Minister of Science, Education, Culture and Sports Vahram Dumanyan, the RA Minister of High-Technological Industry Robert Khachatryan and the co-founder of the STARMUS festival, astrophysicist Garik Israelyan were the key speakers of the press conference. During the conference the official countdown of the festival was announced. Garik Israelyan also highlighted “The festival is a good opportunity to attract tourists with a scientific agenda and to position Armenia on the world map as a country of science. We must do everything possible to achieve this goal.”
